What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...
If only that were true for hockey games. Bako's two-game, two-night stay in Sin City is a bust as Vegas rolls 6 on the Condors Friday night. Marty's Boys drop their second straight 6-2 decision. Saturday night, the Condors come out strong and take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission, much to the delight of the large, very loud contingent of Condors faithful who made the trip. A short-handed goal early in the second extends the lead to 3-0 but the Wranglers' superior skill wears down the Condors as the game goes on. Vegas gets the game-tying goal with less than three minutes left in regulation and take the victory in the shootout.
Not too many quality pics of this game. The vantage point was good; Lighting okay (not as good as Fresno's Save Mart Center but better than the Rab). Once I got home and checked out the haul, most were just not up to my standards. Just one of those nights, I suppose. The Blackjack tables at Whiskey Pete's were kind, though. Turned a $20 buy-in into $120 in under 20 minutes just before leaving Nevada.
