Bako continues to have it's troubles on the road, especially in San Diego where they suffer an embarrassing 8-1 loss Dec. 17, their second straight 7-goal blowout in the Eggo this season (they were pummeled 7-0 on Nov. 18). The 1-2-0 road trip sees the Condors limp home at 9-9-4 for the season. A three-game set with division leaders Las Vegas & Fresno, plus a New Years Eve match with Stockton await.
The Wranglers, with their superior talent, put on a goal-scoring clinic in the second period. After the newest Condor Dave Bonk put Bakersfield up 1-0 in the first, Vegas went to work, netting three in the second, deflating the crowd and sending the Condors to their first regulation home loss of the season.
Because I left my regular camera (Sony DSC-H1) locked in my desk at work over the long Christmas weekend, I had to use my old camera, the 5-year old DSC-P30 I used last season. The battery pack it uses was not charged so there arent too many pics (nothing after second intermission and no final score pic) and they're not best quality.
